: : : : Man, all that talent and the coaching is doing

: : : : after the season. Already a laughing stock on

: : : How quickly people forget...Coach Chavalier only won back to back State Championships in two years at SC. Everywhere he has coached he has won at the highest level including Boys and GIrls CIF championships. Must be fair-weathered Laker Fans or some of his former jealous assistant coaches. Pretty sad how Coach Chavalier can receive Coach of the Year honors and in less than 6 months people suggesting he be fired. Be careful what you wish for--look at UCLA when they complained about how boring Ben Howland's system was as he averaged 24 wins per year before being fired. Now UCLA gets excited when they score more that 60 points in game....

Coach Chavalier has had the benefit of some pretty talented and high profile players during his tenure at Sierra Canyon.
However when involved with a talented and well coach team they tend to have problems. Remember two years ago with a lauded team they lost the CIF championship game to an average Mater Dei team. This year with the addition of Williams and Boston they should be blowing out good teams but yet they seem to have a lot of close games and some unsuspected losses. Is it poor coaching or a lack of player chemistry, but it all does come down to a coaches ability to pull his team together.
: : So itís ok for Coach C to have a future 3-4 pro guys on his team and still not make them play D? I never said he was a bad coach, but this team donít play D at all.

: always thought that the reason why Chino Hills with the Balls went 35-0 is that Steve Baik got them to buy into playing defense when the games got tough in the playoffs. The Bishop Montgomery game in the playoffs in particular.
