: : They will lose eventually. They are high school age kids. Coaching will come into play since it won't be about strategy. It will be about making ego happy.

: : They aren't even the best team in California. That goes to Prolific Prep.

: If they do the paperwork and the transfer is legal what's the problem? Ribet Academy's coach was on television talking about the transfers he got and nothing happened to Ribet. Because even though it was shady AF they CIF had no problem with the transfers. The same could be said about Mater Dei football having kids transferring back to their old high school after the football season ended. That was a big black eye for CIF and for high school sports in Southern California but as long as the transfers were legal then, what is should CIF do? If they rule someone ineligible then they have to do that for all shady or illegal transfers, that would open Pandora's Box and you CIF doesn't want that. Everyone wants a villain and CIF will love to have Sierra Canyon's games televised and packed gyms just like Chino Hills from a few years ago. CIF is seeing a bunch of dollar signs that's why CIF will not step in and do anything. The villainous Sierra Canyon versus good and virtuous Mater Dei?? CIF's wet dream right there.

We should all enjoy the fact that we live in one of the few regions of the country where the best talent still plays HSBB and doesn't run off to the likes of Montverde or IMG. The Open Division in FB and BB was designed to ensure this stays the case.
