Maybe it's good to teach a kid that it's alright to work hard, be patient, and take advantage of your opportunity when the time comes. Leaving a school because you're on JV so you can play varsity at a weaker team isn't always the best move.
For others- there are JV players at top-level programs that would be varsity starter/all-league candidates if they played at their "home" school. Maybe their are factors besides being a varsity player in the decision?
