: : : : : I can't believe a coach would actually admit this after winning a state tittle

: : : Don't think it matters for 2019 as everyone was cleared, but this could affect future transfers if they can't come up with a good reason for transferring to Ribet
: : Yes,they were cleared with the belief that Ribet acted accordingly within the confines of the CIF rules & obviously they didnít.
: : This is a situation thatís unprecedented and could have consequences like vacating their Titles in CIF & State,itís not like top teams donít recruit but this coach in his honesty opened the program up for examination by officials to see what level of recruiting and persuading of players to leave their former school took place.
: Transfers for athletic reasons are permitted now. Obviously there was pre-enrollment contact but that was cleared by the AD's who are in charge of enforcing those rules. I would like to see teams with multiple sit out period transfers vaulted into div 1 to prevent something like this happening in a lower division. The big boys do it, albeit over a period of time (not 7 in one year)so put them at a level playing field.
Just look at Linfield Christian football program this year. 17 players did not play with them last year. 6 sit outs and 11 change of residencies. Plus cif dropped them from D7 to D12. Someone was in the know there!!!
