: : : Has there ever been any team that starts three sometimes four sophs
: : : with the remaining starter(s) a junior in the highest division
: : : of the CIF SoCal regionals in the last 25 years or so?

: : I believe about 8 years ago Mater Dei stared the Wear twins freshman, Andy brown soph, anther junior and I believe taylor King was a junior

:
: Have you ever seen a team where the leader in points per game is only averaging 2 points higher per game than the 6th man. Talk about a well balanced, well oiled machine.

If you want to go way back to before most of you were born, but when I was in high school......
1983 was McKnight’s first year at MD and they started 3 juniors and 2 sophomores. They won CIF that year but lost in the SoCal regionals to Crenshaw that featured the best high school player I have ever seen in John Williams. The next season with all 5 returning starters they traveled to DeMatha coached by the legendary Morgan Wooten and lost. They were upset in the CIF finals that year by LB Poly.
