: : : : I wonder how long it will take before CIF backtracks on their new paperwork requirements. Having a requirement for escrow papers or a long term lease of a minimum of 12 months might be a little tough. How about the poor kid who's family can't get a long term lease and has to do a month to month lease he won't be eligible without a long term lease? How can CIF tell you, that you need to sign a 1 year lease to be eligible to play. Hmmmmm I think they have the right idea with requiring more paperwork but making the time limit a requirement might not hold up.

: : : The can of worms has been opened once you have kids transferring in with a "valid" change of residence, playing out a season, and then returning to the school they came from.. It's an embarrassment to the idea of HS sports. Either CIF has to get tough on this stuff and try to stuff the genie back in the bottle or just allow everyone to go wherever they want.

: : Are there any other changes besides the paperwork? Sit our period still there?

: What I find interesting is how you found out about this transfer crap. Either you are a snake recruiting hs coach or a parent that has his wanna be "all star" transferring. Was this information in the newspapers, on tv news? Why would you seek this out???

Shouldn't your fake outrage be directed toward the recruiting HS coaches out stealing players or at parents or AAU coaches creating entitled kids who are looking for who can give them whatever instead of at someone who learned about the new guidelines? Get some context.
