: : : : Back to Back losing seasons for the California Lutheran University Kingsmen Basketball Program under 2nd year Coach Tim Fusina (9-15 and 7-15 with two games to go). Better hope they can replace 40 points per game next season with their two leading scorers graduating.
: : : : Coach Dunlap raised the bar to new heights, Coach Rider and Coach Dains sustained the success, and now it it appears that erosion has set in.
: : : : Perhaps the next coaching selection process will not be done out of desperation.
: : : Having followed SoCal college basketball for a very long time and from what I've seen, talent-wise the entire conference is down. Coach K has PP playing well, but thats about it.
: : Yes P-P and CMS have continued to be the gold standard in the SCIAC for the past 25 years. Don't sleep on Coach Newhall at Oxy, who has the Tigers playing well and poised for 20 wins including a good win against
: : What excuse will Coach Fusina have next year when the bottom drops out at CLU next year? One thing is for sure he has consistently had losing records in 4 of his 6 seasons as a head coach.
: Attention old staff: you got let go. Get over it. Get off socalhoops.
Would you choose someone to manage your 401(K) or stock portfolio who had a losing record? Simply clear that they chose wrong coach to replace Coach Rider. 16-33 overall in two seasons. Coach Dains 20-7 as the interim head coach vs continued mediocracy.. ...Great senior night yesterday losing to CMS 84-46.....Is the program really in better shape then when Fusina got there as he posted on the CLU website?
