: : : : : I'm picking Calabasas by 6. Big games by Lloyd and Cheylov. If the refs let them play, they're too strong for Crespi.
: : : : Your spread is on the money with the Coyotes at Home but its not a long drive from Encino to C-bass so I'm thinking who ever has the ball last is going to win it!!!
: : : : Comes down to last second shot and the Celts deliver!
: : : I can't argue that it'll be a close game between two hungry teams, and it may well come down to last possession. But the Coyotes will hit that shot, not the Celts! should be a barn-burner!
: : You were right, Crespi was too big and we couldn't answer. We had a small lead at halftime but got worn down. Our star PG got in early foul trouble and that didn't help. But Crespi won a tough game, and we congratulate them and wish them good luck...
: The bank 3 at the end of the 3rd was a killer for the Coyotes. Cbass down by 6 with around 5 minutes started taking way to many 3's and that's when Crespi started to extend its lead. Good game all the way around.
: I gotta say that the Crespi fans yelling at the refs ALL GAME was pretty annoying. Thought they had more class then that.
: Recently read an article on why there is a shortage of good referees - I found out first hand sitting in the Crespi parent section.
: Embarrassing !!!!!
Crespi fans are horrible. They act like spoiled brats. They were right that the refereeing was inconsistent
but it didn't favor one team - there were questionable calls both ways. Our best player got into early foul trouble and played limited minutes in the second half. When he was off the floor, Crespi made their run. If he didn't have foul trouble, we'd probably have won the game (we were up by 10 when he had to sit, and down when he came back in). So why did their fans scream and complain so much?
It's a shame that refs have to suffer any abuse. What I see from too many parents - especially from private schools like Crespi - ain't right. We should be setting a better example for our kids. Period.
