: : I bet about 40% of these players bypass this worn out money grab event. Pollon just puts it on to get fat on entrance fees. Most these guys are college bound and should really sit this one out in my opinion.

: I'm not 100% sure, but I think the Senior All Star game is free for the players and it's more of a celebration of their HS career, so players that do play, it's just a no defense type get together with lots of smiles and fun. 3 point shoot out and dunk contest. A lot of the players do play in it if their schedule permits and they aren't injured.

: From an entrance fee standpoint, yes they make a bit of money, but someone has to pay for scores table, gym, refs, school security & janitorial etc.

This game is put on by the Valley Sports Foundation. It's not put on by Pollon, but he is on the board and helps organize it.

Unlike the soph/junior game events, this one is pretty fun and the kids who play all have a blast and they give out some academic awards.

Last year there was a 3 pt contest at both the boys and girls game. Then the two winners had a shoot off and the girl's winner was the overall champ.

The dunk contest was fun (if not great) and Marvin Bagley was a judge.

Since it's at Sierra Canyon, and Pollon works there, all those Sierra kids will play so it should be pretty fun this year too.
