: : : Mission league starts soon;
: : : 1) Harvard Westlake - too much talent. Too well coached. Juzang (hm D1), Hooks (mm D1), Hubbard (lm D1-D2) + Coaching staff = League Title
: : : 2) Notre Dame - 2 hm D1 players. Solid role guys. But even with 2 D1's they lose games that they shouldn't. But just like the players, the coaching is getting better game by game.
: : : 3) Loyola - Well coached. Plays as a unit.
: : : 4) Chaminade - Played in good games early. Our guard play is above solid. KJ (lm-mm D1) continues to improve. Good enough pg. Scrappy. We'll surprise people.
: : : 5) Alemany - Playing better as of late. Even in the losses. No point guard. No bigs. But scrappy and resilient.
: : : 6) St. Francis - Dennis Flowers (NAIA-D3) is playing well. Andre Henry (mm D1)
: : : 7) Crespi - Not a lot of talent but well coached. Suspect guard play and most of their bigs transferred elsewhere. I always liked Kyle Owens (lm D1) but idk if he's enough.
: : HW
: : ND
: : Loyola
: : Crespi
: : Nade
: : St.F
: : Alemany
: ...Crespi: "Well Coached" and players transferring OUT is counter intuitive. right? so either these players leaving prob not going to play up to their potential or are coach/team killers or we have to rethink the "Well Coached" if they transfer out and thrive elsewhere.
"Thrive"? Who left Crespi and thriving elsewhere? There are transfers who have made great choices going to new schools and situations. Ex Daniels leaving Paraclete going to Alemany, Todd and Willis going to ECR, the entire team at Birmingham lol. But I don't see former Crespi players necessarily flourishing.
Why would Alemany be last? Has St. Francis given any reason to believe that they shouldn't be last? Alemany has the most experienced guard in the league. Both of the previous lists has Loyola 3rd? Why? HW is definitely beatable. Johnny Juzang has been out all year. Even once he gets back there will be an adjustment period.
