: : : : : : What's going on at Foothill? They are 3-7 and their three wins are against really bad teams. They even lost to Godinez. I guess letting the coach go wasn't the best decision.

: : : : : Saw them play at Sunny Hills, not impressive. I Will say the level of talent is down from the past tremendously, but what is there isn't being utilized well. Have heard they have a lot of lower level talent, but will they stay if things continue the way they are? When would anyone have thought their annual game against Tustin would determine which is the worst team in their district?

: : : : coach only cares about renting gym out and running his club

: : : :That's incorrect. He works hard with average players.

: :
: : No argument with working hard with average players as that is what you are supposed to do. No credit should be given for stuff people are supposed to do. However, it is hard to separate the club program access to the gym, players, and overall direction of the program when the Head Coach is a club coach and his #1 assistant runs the Cali Rebel program and works as a guidance counselor at the school.

: Not sure why Foothill would let a Club Program in the Gym and have to School Employees making money with a Club Program, versus focus on the High School Program? Its like these feeder programs that have Parents pay for their kids to play on the High School Feeder Teams. Its a joke Cali Rebels is a average Club Program and now foothill is a below average High School Team.

Hello I am a parent of Cali Rebels player who is now a junior. First off, Cali Rebels doesn’t operate out of Foothill in season. That is a false statement. Cali Rebels run from March to July. All public schools go through ups and downs of talent unless they have feeder programs like Villa Park (Aces), Canyon (IC Splash) Tesoro (PD) Santa Margarita (B2B), Capo Valley, Marina (Surf City) list goes on and on. Perhaps Foothill should start a feeder. Whoever is writing these seems to be a former employee of the program or a disgruntled person. Who cares so much about a public school Coach in his second year? Very peculiar. Anyhow just a parent who still has kids in the youth world and cringes at these types of posts. Canyons Head Coach was at the Map just 3 weeks ago. Why are guys mentioning that? Perhaps more public schools should stop being Sweden and recruit like Canyon, Villa Park and SO many others just mention them as they are in the same league as Foothill. Not knocking it because who doesn’t want to win games and coach good player. Just call it what it is.
