: : : : : SCCS got smashed by Camirillo by 22 points. But it looked worse than that. Are they still "rolling" or are the SCCS players and fans going to wait until they beat Reseda's jv team to start talking smack again? Lol
: : : : SCCS is trash and Valencia lost to a terrible Campbell Hall team. Santa Clarita basketball should stfu forever.
: : : There are the OPEN teams each season and I think this season Camarillo will be in the conversation to make it.
: : : Then there are say the Top 50 SoCal Teams.
: : : Then the best teams/players would rank somewhere in that 51-100 in Santa Clarita. I don't think it's fair or true to say SC ball is trash. SC is what it is, vying to be the best of the 3rd tier. SC knows it will never be OPEN or Tier 1, because 98% of the time when a player is that good, they get recruited to ball at VC, HC, SC, Alemany, Chaminade, ND, HW. That's the truth. But SC still has players goto local schools and make it and play in College, Top 20 College, heck no - not even close, but prob way more D2/3 than D1.
: : Hard to believe Camarillo is a top 8 team in SoCal. They will NOT be open.
: I live neither in the SCV or SFV but I find it funny that San Fernando Valley dudes think they have great players. Who has come out of the SFV in the last few years and excelled at a top 20 college program or in the NBA? smh
Just off the top of my head ...ummmm say top lottery pick Bagley, D Melton from Crespi, Brandon W at Arizona, K Clark at Virginia, any SC player hooping in college lol, many really good hoopers north / northwest of Los Angeles now. Come on Man... Boatwright at USC, I'm sure many others too playing good ball. Chaminade players M Oguine at Montana, another player doing really well at Cal Poly. Alright, so a few are top 20, but many others doing good.
