: : : : : : Any Suggestions for a Public School in Orange County. I want my son to develop while playing the correct way. We just moved and live in Anaheim area...Don't want him to play at private school.

: : : : : : We moved into AUHSD. What local schools are good in that area?

: : : : : Anaheim Schools ranked by Coaches
: : : : : 1. Loara - Ed Prange is an excellent coach and your son will not only become a great player but an outstanding young man.
: : : : : 2. Cypress - High level team with talent,
: : : : : 3. Savanna - they play a little wild and jack up a lot of 3's
: : : : : 4. Western - new coach jury is out but still better than the rest
: : : : : 5. Kennedy -plays in Empire League with some good teams,
: : : : : 6. Katella - only here because the last two are so bad
: : : : : 7. Magnolia - they play a little out of control at times and appear dysfunctional
: : : : : 8. Anaheim - My mother taught me if you didn't have something nice to say then say nothing

: : : :
: : : : OF ALL those schools... Loara is where I would want to send my kid... If he is good it doesnt matter he will be seen. Ed Prange is CLASS and will make your son a BETTER PERSON.

: : : Can you imagine if Ed Prange, year in and year out, got the talent that Cypress does? Or if he had the talent Western had when they were bringing in kids? Loara would be great under Coach Prange. He does a great job.

: : The best Public Basketball School in Orange County is Anahiem Hills! Canyon High School wins every year, kids develop, and have fun!

: Yes nCanyon is an excellent school with a top athletic program. They are in the Orange Unified School District. The orginal post asked about Anaheim Unified School District

Thought his question was to have his son play basketball in the AUHSD? Cypress should be number 1. I'm sure all the coaches produce fine young men...but this is about basketball. Loara is a no way near Cypress's level when it comes to ballin.
