: : : : : : : : : : : : : Has anyone seen them this fall? How do they look? They lost their top guys. Do they have a chance to repeat league championship?

: : : : : : : : : : : : They lost their top 4 guys to Mission Viejo, Bishop Montgomery, and Canyon. Their 5th guy (big kid from Africa)can only play half the season due to eligibility rules. Also, they won't repeat as league champs as they are in a new league, the Empire, which will be won by Cypress handily.

: : : : : : : : : : : I canít wait to see what the Crean coach learned about program building from his time as an assistant at Orange Lutheran,

: : : : : : : : : : Two Years ago, Everyone said Cypress would win league, and the Tillers were able to hang the banner in Tustin. The Tillers will be back!!! Down with Cypress and Crean Lutheran!

: : : : : : : : : Slow your roll Farm Boys, Cypress and Valencia are better than you, Crean still has size and you lost to Pacifica twice last year.
: : : : : : : :
: : : : : : : : Say what you want; i'm only stating facts. We have the best coach and program in the league. Valencia never wins. Cypress has only been good recently.

: : : : : : : : Order of Finish for 2018-19

: : : : : : : : Tustin
: : : : : : : : Cypress
: : : : : : : : Crean
: : : : : : : : Valencia
: : : : : : : : Pacifica
: : : : : : : : Kennedy

: : : : : : : : Tustin would be lucky to finish 3rd in league.

: : : : : : Tried to help the guy but he is too arrogant and abusive regarding Valencia coach. I have extensive basketball background. He might step down at end of this year after the last Jenkins kid. Both Jenkins boys got/get unlimited playing time because their daddy bought a new gym floor a few years ago. Every community knows about each school and coach. If you do not play merit, you will not have a good program. Only a couple of times will talent fall into a bad coaches hand. Good luck to all 6 teams in the Empire.

: : : : : Coach Yosh is the 2nd best coach in Empire since Aihara left. Bossenmeyer still the standard with CIF ring.

: : : : the last poster obviously did not take his RX meds prior to posting. Yosh has won nothing. Got lucky a few times when players landed at the school. Thats it. Yosh plays politics over merit. That is why he is NOT a good coach.

: : : What other coach in Empire has any success?

: : Easy answer - Coach Bossenmeyer at Tustin. One of the top high school coaches anywhere. Has won a bunch of league titles with less talent than the competition plus a CIF Title a few years ago. Cypress coach also appears to be building a sustainable program. I would place Yosh in a tie for 2nd with Cypress' Coach with Cypress on the rise.

: Cypress has been on the rise as a program. Love how hard Coach Mitchell has the boys playing. Went 24-5 last season and made it to the Quarters. As an alum, I played against Tustin...theyre coach is definitely tops in league, but I gotta put Mitchell before Yosh (biased opinion)

C'mon... Nobody and I mean nobody in OC yells at those refs better than good ole Yosh.
