: : : : : : Daniel Boatwright is enrolling at Calabasas.
: : : : : : Boatwright Sr & Coach Palarz will clash. My money is on Coach losing.
: : : : : You can book that, Sr likes to be involved.. But I dont believe this derails anything happening within the program.
: : : : no way boatwright wins, palarz too strong of a personality. plus, boatwright only one player and not a group of kids coming through the program where his dad can dictate terms (reference Ball family).
: : : Player is not good enough to dominate a coach's decision making. Also he is a senior now I believe. Seniors are in their last year. If they aren't happy they would have to quit not just jump to another school.
: : __________
: : Daniel should've stayed at Canoga Park and just cooked the grade D competition that they played. But everywhere he's been since he's helped burn the house down Coach Palarz is making a huge mistake here and he'll get burned.
: : Village - Coach got fired and program is forever destroyed. Not all Daniel's fault. But everyone knew that he'd disrupt what could've been a very good squad.
: : St Genevieve - was program that was building to be at least respectable. Daniel goes there, the coach gets fired and program is moving backwards and will be bad for a while.
: : Birmingham - wasn't expected to be good but missed out on 2 decent varsity players because they didn't want to play with Daniel.
: : Calabasas - has a nice young core. Let's see how this turns out.
: : But Bennie Sr thinks that Daniel is a high major recruit. When in reality he isn't naia. Coach Palarz will have his hands full.
: Daniel is a good player - not great - but his height alone will help Calabasas. They've developed a strong group of players - they've won Marmonte League three straight seasons, their returning senior PG was league MVP last year as a jr, and they have some good sophs and freshmen - so Daniel will have to fight for playing time. Palarz won't just lay down for his Dad, or any other Dad. Should be interesting.
You guys donít know what youíre talking about if you think a parent can dictate terms to palarz. Heís pretty much a legend at that school, mutilple league crowns and playoff appearances and won the school itís only cif championships in 2012, and 2014. In under no circumstance would he get fired over a disgruntled parent.
