: No specific order for these … just observations:
: … Carter (Sage Hill) - exceptional talent whose stock was damaged when he transferred and dropped in competition
: … Davidson (MDHS) - solid player but possibly just another MD “system player” who has benefited from being surrounded by talent
: … Reynolds (SMHS) - throwback post player who works hard but needs to stretch his game
: … Rancik (JSerra) - after his senior season, will be the most college- ready player in OC - 6’9” who can play all 5 positions
: … Benjamin (Canyon) - tough sophomore who will be better next year when the twins are back and the team won’t have to rely on him as much
: … Brown (Tesoro) - good shooter but really only valuable on the offensive end of the court
: … Alier (Orangewood) & Maker (Fairmont) - untapped potential

: Others (all returning next year) - Paleo (OLu), Bailey (Crean), Martinsen & Verna (MD), Mercadel (Orangewood), Fowler (JSerra), Haugh (Dana Hills), Stillman (Pacifica Christian)

Rancik has offers from UCLA, Nebraska, LMU, Pepperdine and Ole Miss. Surprised he doesn't get more love here.
