: : : : : : : : : : : I’m going off the oc top 10 posted by Moore management. I saw Tesoro beat mater Dei and lose to lose to OLu by 1. They should be higher than Cypress and Orangewood in my opinion

: : : : : : : : : : Tesoro is very good! They beat Corona Centennial to. Have the best player in Orange county! Talking to alot of College Coaches about him. They play very well together. Cypress beat Mater Dei,as well! Keep in mind this is not the real season! Mater dei, Corona Centennial do not always have there best players! Orangewood beat Balboa Prep and some really good teams, so they could win that division! Its early and will see "How it goes"! Its always about "Where you finish"! Open Division will be between Corona Centennial and Sierra Canyon! Harvard Westlake, Etiwanda, Mater Dei, Santa Margarita,St. John Bosco, Bishop Montgomery.

: : : : : : : : : GPA anyone? I have seen a lot of really good basketball players and athletes fall short of college based on lack of grades or taking dumb dumb classes. Hit the books otherwise basketball will not matter. Good luck to all student athletes.

: : : : : : : : GPA does matter to most Colleges! We have 126 Student/Athletes playing in College at all levels!

: : : : : : : Really enjoy watching high School basketball here in Orange County. Seems like there is so much of a difference between the levels of Teams. Trinity League has so many "Holdbacks'' and the best players. Some high Schools look like Youth teams. Would be nice to see some better players, like the other Sports in Orange County

: : : : : : 1.Mater Dei
: : : : : : 2.Canyon
: : : : : : 3.Santa Margarita
: : : : : : 4.J-Serra
: : : : : : 5.OLu
: : : : : : 6.Orangewood Academy
: : : : : : 7.Edison
: : : : : : 8.Cypress
: : : : : : 9.Sonora
: : : : : : 10.Tesoro

: : : : : Tesoro is so much better than Edison, Cypress, and Sonora. Their league is significantly better than any of these other leagues- top to bottom. The coaches and programs at Tesoro, Edison, Cypress, and Sonora are notches better than OLu and Orangewood. Just because they are private schools and they have talent doesn't mean they are better. I'm taking any of those 7-10 over 5-6 in a game.

: : : : 7-10 are legit. Their track records prove it. If you gave them the same resources as a private school, the current private school coaches wouldn’t be able to recruit like they do. These public school coaches give the little schools a chance

: : : I like Pacifica Christian they have some very good D-2 and d3 players who play well together. Again Private has a big advantage, older players who are bigger and stronger then public school kids.

: : Every public school listed above recruits just like the private schools.

: Every School is Recruiting or they are not trying! 90 Percent of the players cannot play at "Private Schools, so go where you will have fun and play!

Some are not faith based. Some can't afford the cost for private schools and most will go to loaded public schools that recruit.

It shows high quality character for good players to stay at a local high school when knowing team is bad and/or coaching is sub par. Not everything is "same size fits all" in life. IF, you are a good player, colleges will find you especially when one plays in AAU college viewing tournaments.

All does not matter if you do not get good grades. I train a straight A student that can play in Trinity but is staying at local school that is not very good for one reason or another. I also train a struggling C student, really good in hoops but if he does not get better grades, will be the Waterboy and he and family knows time is running out.
