: : : So are they going to hire?
: : : Who are the lead candidates?
: : : Is Burbank even a good job?

: : : Lets go,Comments

: : Burbank Unified School District has a very strict hiring process. They have to post the position for 2 weeks, which ended last week. They will do one round of interviews with every candidate which meets the minimum job description and then a 2nd layer of interviews. Burbank will have a coach named by the end of next week by the earliest.

: When it comes to sports, the Burbank USD is a piece of crap. Nobody over there...save for the mayyyyyybe the Sup and a couple others...has a backbone. They'll bend over for any parent that has a gripe, illegitimate (98% of the time), or legitimate (which is understandable, but rarely are there legitimate gripes). They're scared, spineless. I know they let two "disgruntled" parents...who I've been told don't know SHIT about basketball...of a kid at Burroughs virtually wreck that program the past 2 years. Burbank HS admin...particularly it's sports admin...is very solid, but that district is a joke.

: Agree, BUSD only cares about academics and not getting sued. I was a parent during the last 2 years and saw the 2 parents manipulate the program into the ground. I didn't say anything because I was also accused of having too much input into the 2016 team that made it to the semi-finals and had the best basketball record in Burroughs History. At least I tried to help the team win, these other parents only cared that their child got to shoot more.
