: : : : Is this the breakout year for Loyola? Why have they struggled over the years with that good coaching staff?

: : : : Wasn't Dave Miller supposed to be the savior at Lawndale? What happened there?

: : : A lot of people get over hyped and this could possibly be the case in both situations.

: : I think that this ^ is true. Loyola had a good short run & is a well known school so we overhyped the program as a whole. The coaching is... solid. Plus Sondy wrote an article about Loyola's president & let's just say that the coaches there might be handcuffed.
: : Dave Miller overhyped himself. I do give him credit for going to a city school and not running to XRoads or another wealthy private school. But probably should've gone to Lawndale without the added hype.

: : So here's a question. Who are the most overaged coaches in SoCal? (Wins doesn't make a good coach either.)

: Obviously, you're not a golfer.

Interesting schools to bring up at same time. Lawndale has little to no talent, plays no one out of league and Miller is a side show.
Loyola is well coached, has good talent along with private school size but not elite talent. Plays a good schedule and always represents itself well.
