: In high school all programs strive to be as competitive as they can. Spending hours developing their players. Once kids develop then others swoop in a influence the kids to transfer schools . Coaches pretends they are clean and don’t behave like that. It’s a shame coaches take credit from what coaches put in time for doing only to just win at all cost. HS coaches need to be more ethical when it comes to other coaches kids. Parents need to be more inform of coaches who’s genuine and who’s genuinely only into what coaches get out of manipulating them to think that their program is better. Many times when parents make poor decisions for their child usually doesn’t work out for the better. “ The grass isn’t always greener on the other side “ monitoring your own grass , will be the best way to see the outcome.

So if the best player decides to transfer to a more top notch school to probably play a tougher schedule with more exposure where they probably won't be their new teams best player, they are doing it for themselves as they want that experience, GOOD for that player and family.
For your own player that remains on the team that just lost a player, doesn't that give your kid more opportunities to shine? Sure the HS team won/loss record may dip if other players aren't ready to step up, but look at it like an opportunity.
