: : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : There is no way in hell that Anthony Davis is a Top 5 NBA player. Jimmy Butler proved it.

: : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : :He needs Lebron to win with. Could not do it on his own.

: : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Jimmy Butler is definitely not top 5...

: : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : The entire East sucks again, I was more worried for every West playoff round than with Miami. Miami probably loses in the first round in the West bracket.

: : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Exchange Butler for AD. With AD on the Heat, they lose in first round of playoffs in east. It is that simple. LaBron has carried less worthy many times to the finals before, ala 6 final losses. Look at the roster on those teams. You got myopia man!

: : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : You sure do give Butler a lot of credit when Bam was the one dominating until he got hurt against the Celtics. Put Butler on the Lakers and they would lose that size dominance they have had against everyone. Butler would make them a rockets 2.0

: : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Loser Of Life LOL

: : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : You mean winner of first of many championships for AD who will probably lock up Butler again tomorrow night just like he did last game.

: : : : : : : : : : : : : : : AD looks like deer in head lights....needs to learn how to be a dog. AD hangs out at 3 too much when he should be low post. Mentally he is weak. Fortunately for Lakers.........LaBron is trying to teach him. AD had enough in NO but could not getter done.

: : : : : : : : : : : : : : AD had enough in NO to do what? before last year's debacle he did lead them past Portland in the first round and then was a monster against Golden State but his team sucked in comparison to actual championship level teams.
: : : : : : : : : : : : : : ADNow he is shooting over 60% on 3s in the finals and 40% for the playoffs and you don't want him shooting? He can do it all and dominates inside and outside.

: : : : : : : : : : : : AD is the biggest pussy. Always getting hurt. Always hit the floor 6 + times a game. 6'11" pussy won't play low post. Candy Ass bitch

: : : : : : : : : : : AD is the difference between no playoffs last year and winning a Chip this year.

: : : : : : : : : : Clipper fans please sit down, the jealousy is too real

: : : : : : : : : Who started this "Chip" bullshit? Millennial/Z slang is wack

: : : : : : : : Google shows it being most hated by people who have never won anything(ex. Clipper fans)

: : : : : : : Unlike most classic urban slang, this doesn't show inventiveness or thought, someone took the first letter and last three letters and shoved them together.

: : : : : : : The original LA basketball curse was on the Lakers, who lost their first 8 Finals before a Celtic showed them how to win in '72. It took 13 more years for the Lakers to beat Boston in the Finals.

: : : : : : : Lakers fans should be more humble, if a team from Milwaukee or Charlotte were run so inconsistently, they'd end up in Seattle. The only saving grace is their location, a region where half of all star NBA players own a home.

: : : : : : If only the Clippers had the same geographical advantage the past 30 years...oh wait....

: : : : : We all know why the Clippers have sucked for so long, Sterling used the team as a piggybank/accessory and ran them like a plantation. Years of mismanagement capped by giving a coach the role of GM. And Doc drafted terribly.

: : : : : Never a good thing when 4 of your top 6 draft picks in franchise history leave the team before signing their first extension, and not one played more than seven seasons with them.

: : : : : 1. Blake Griffin - signed two extensions and was promptly banished to Detroit, good move actually (Jerry West's idea)

: : : : : 2. Danny Ferry - preferred Italy to the Clippers

: : : : : 3. Danny Manning - "That's a lot of money for a poor black kid" - Donald Sterling, after Manning initially held out. He would soon be a Sun.

: : : : : 4. DeAndre Jordan - signed one extension, then the Clippers had to literally barricade him in his home to keep the Mavs out, who he'd already agreed to play for.

: : : : : 5. Lamar Odom - left for Miami after his rookie deal.

: : : : : 6. Tom Chambers - This was San Diego, but he played just two years before leaving.

: : : : You do know that all but Chambers were drafted by the team under Sterling's ownership, right?

: : : Five years of good ownership doesn't make up for decades of failure. Losing is their foundation, giving the Lakers undeniable permanent superiority in the city. Clippers are less to LA than the Jets, Nets, and Mets are to NY.

: : : And of course the Clippers have mostly wasted their drafts under Ballmer anyway, and they have traded away many future picks as well.

: : : LeBron was willing to sign with the Lakers without a second star. Kawhi demanded a trade for PG at all costs, in order to sign with the Clippers.

: : wasted drafts.. It's really hard to get real NBA players picking 21-25 every year. So go back in the last 5 years and name the "miss" where they picked a hack and missed on a guy that got picked up immediately later.

: The biggest is 2016, in 2016 picked they picked 25th Brice Johnson and Siakim went 27th and Brogden 36th.

: Some other good gets in late 1st would have been
: 2017 Kuzma went 27th
: 2018 porter was 14th right after their 2 picks, Kendrick Nunn was updrafted and Shamet who they traded later was picked 26th

: There's always a few guys late that make an impact, the Clippers just haven't gotten them. With all the trades they definitely will become a sinking ship from their peak, which sadly was likely this year ending with nothing again.

LaBron is teaching AD how to win this big games. AD still needs help. He is always falling, has horrible balance and can't play low post back to basket. He makes up for this with being athletic. Hopefully he gets better with his foot work and balance to continue to bring the Lakers more Championships. Go Lakers!
