: : : : What makes it easier for a player to score 25-40 easy now compared to the early 2000s? It seems like so many kids these days drop 40 in a game when in 2003-2005 you rarely saw that. 10 points and over was considered a good scoring game back in the game.
: : : : What has changed the most?
: : :
: : : ZERO CLUE HOW TO DEFEND or DESIRE to lockdown 1 on 1 let alone team D. I blame the adults, you are what you allow. There isn't much pride as a whole on the defensive side of the ball anymore.
: : : They are allowed to " Palm " the ball.
: Coaches leave their good players in in blow out situations so they can score 40 and put the stats on the internet. Itís a meaningless 40 when you win by 30+.
I couldnt agree with you more. Ive seen firsthand players scoring 40+ points in games when they are blowing out the opposition. The other team often times has NO ONE that can guard a great scorer - yet the coach that is winning encourages his star player to keep scoring. It looks good in the newspapers and on the players resume. Im old school, when you are winning by 30+ - pull your best players and let the subs play and contribute. Those days seem to be over. Sad actually.
