AAU is all about 1 on 1, stacked teams and playing over aggressive defense cuz the refs aint calling chit......fast breaks and clear outs. No pass and screen away, no sets, no teaching of setting or using screens. Jungle ball at its finest. Not to mention PAYING for parking and entire family to go watch. No thanks!!

: : Wow ESPN got Skyy Clark 5 Star! He had serious issues against AAU teams today, hoopin' for Atlanta Celtics. Serious issues fam'. To be honest, it's just not enough competition in CA to truly see where your game is at. Don't get me wrong, Cali is loaded but they don't play out here bro...seriously. They play like football...even the girls! Stay in the LAB bruh ! That's my word of advice to you before they hate on me and delete the post.

: AAU hoops has a lot of talent is So Cal without any doubt. Where the players (and parents) fall short is hooking up with wrong programs. Everyone loves to win. Playing on stacked teams does not allow one to help progress their game. No work or development on TEAM concepts and understandings, "it is all about me", selfish, never been taught how to play team ball (Look at what UCLA Head Coach had to go thru last year). The pampered AAU over-hyped athletic guys needs to be taught how to play basketball in college. A lot of fluff teaching drills in AAU. Most AAU players are sold and hooked on one on one play. Excuse me, basketball has and always will be a team sport. Athletically gifted players does not mean you are a basketball player.
