: : Check the stats website

: : https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/COVID-19/COVID-19-Cases-by-Age-Group.aspx

: : Not one kid between 0-17 has died from COVID-19 in the state of California. We have had only 77 deaths between 18-34... with over 100,000 cases in that age group.

: : Let the kids play, if they have someone at home with pre-existing conditions or older then they should opt out.

: :
: : : : : : Just found out the sports complex out in Corona is still having AAU games this weekend. Shut it down, stop risking lives because you want to line your pockets!

: : : : : That is disgusting. People trying to make money using kids during a pandemic. Not now. Shut it down. And any parent who sends their kid to play - shame.

: : : : They are doing the same thing a couple nights a week at the draft in corona which is run by the Centennial coaches even though there aren't supposed to be any youth sports going on in Riverside county.

: : : And people were giving me a hard time when I said Dinos was pimping out kids. Hes in the OC, but doing just like these IE guys.

: It might be true that kids won't die, but many could be left with serious medical issues which may last a lifetime. Simple fact is that we do not know where this pandemic is leading, and how dangerous it is for kids.
: Imagine if we proceed with camps/showcases etc amd kids get sick or, God forbid, die. IT IS NOT WORTH THE RISK!!! We're the damn adults - let's put the kids' health interests first!

Is California a good state to go by? We locked down early and didn't have our worst death days until this week. Our most vulnerable were protected until the no mask fiasco of the past month. California has not seen this virus during flu season, not the way New York has.

This winter, large amounts of the virus will be circulating throughout California. If kids turn out to be carriers in such a diseased environment, everyone is at risk. We will know more if/when school starts, the virus may spread through schools to parents, teachers, admin, bus drivers, etc. Even mild symptoms most would write off can be contagious. Typhoid Mary didn't get sick either, but she was a carrier.

Imagine the first game of the season and a player starts coughing during a game. Does the ref pull that player out? Do the other players act like Karl Malone to Magic in 1992? I doubt every player will be tested before each game, as is the case with the NBA bubble.

If you are wrong, schools and school districts go bankrupt! Everybody had best follow state guidelines.
