: : : : : New coach was supposed to be a life saver ? He's just as bad as the coach he replaced . Best players were seniors . He will be recruiting soon. Parents won't like that. He can't make the watered down CIF playoffs?

: : : A counselor at the school runs the Cali Rebels program. New coach is one of the Cali Rebels coaches. Sounds like an inside job on that hire & it makes one wonder who were the other candidates? Transfers into a high end community probably won't be received positively when a local kid gets his spot taken. The new coach was a first time head coach. They only gave the previous guy two years. Hopefully they give this guy time to develop his program. The league is tough and Canyon and VP will not give up their place at the top as long as Harrison and Reynolds are running those programs.

: : Another club guy. Same result. Their best win was Yorba Linda wiht a 2 point win over Esperanza who was awful this season. They already have a few recruited kids and nothing changes. I'd get out of there asap.

: Every High School Coach finds out the hard way! Cypress High School has a good Coach and Program, but they never win C.I.F. ,since a Feeder Club Program does not help you maximize your players! Foothill use to win. Had a good Coach and his players were going to the top Club Programs! Not sure why High School Athletic Directors or Coaches would "Drink the Cool Aid"! The financial issue bothers all of us. Since the Club Program and Foothill make alot of money, it hurts the local High School kids! Why would the school let them run a Club Program at their School? Some people have said its illegal what they our doing? I am not sure since I am just a parent, but one of the rules said a Coach cannot coach his Club players or only so many kids can play Club from the same High School?

I wonder how many of these posts are from the same person? Sorry your senior kid didn't play this year, the young players were the better investment. The only rule which exists is transferring to a school to play for a club coach, which is not the issue here.

They will be better next year, and even more the year after. Anything else being said is just stirred up drama.
