: : : : : what happened to Spencer Freedman

: : : : Still on the roster at Harvard, but has not played at all this season. Still injured.

: : : Even if he's sitting on the bench or never even plays a game-he's at Harvard.

: : Harvard plays Yale today at 2:00 p.m. PST, game is on ESPNU. Good opportunity to see if he's on the bench, dressed in uniform or in street close or even present.

: From looking at the TV broadcast of the game with Yale it appears that he didn't travel to Yale for today's game.

: The Harvard bench has only 9 players in uniform, in addition to the 5 starters on the floor.

: The Harvard Men's Basketball roster (at shows a total of 19 players on the current roster for 2019-20.

: So obviously a bunch of guys who aren't playing regularly didn't make the trip, and that appears to include Freedman.

: Looking at his stat line for the year, Freedman has only played in one game this season (first of the season), and then he was in only a total of 2 minutes.

: So what's up with that? If he was injured there would typically be something about that in one of the local papers, or the Daily Crimson's sports pages.

: But there's nothing. Nada. Not a peep about him.

: Tommy Amaker has a reputation as being a hard-ass so maybe Freedman is in the doghouse with the coach.

: Who knows though. Could be anything. But he's not playing, that much is certain.

Injured players donít travel at Harvard. Bryce Akins wasnít on the bench either.
