: : Rated as a player.

: : Hes an athlete. Nothing more.

: When he left Harvard Westlake I said that it was actually good for Cassius and it was good for Harvard Westlake. I thought that Terren Frank was a loss for HW. But Stanley, not so much.
: I saw a Sierra Canyon game where Washington (Ohio State) and Pippen Jr. handled the ball most of the game and defended the other guards. Stanley looked good.
: Well Stanley was guarding Nico Mannion of Earl Watson Elite. Nico Mannion looked as if he was playing against his little brother at a family pickup game. Yes, Stanley is taller. But that didn't matter. I'm also here to say that jumping alone is not athletism. So I'm not entirely sure if Stanley is uber athletic. I know that I said that he was. But I might change my mind. Even when he switch off on Nico. Whoever he was guarding was told to score. And it wasn't just that game and this isn't the first year that I'm seeing this.
: He can't slide is feet. He's not a pg and the coaches look silly playing him there. But the backcourt is with the kid from Taft and you might as well put Stanley there by default.
: If Stanley played the wing and tried to defend he'd be very good. But he's playing outside of his physical capabilities. I do think that if he had a good coach that he'd be good.

100% accurate - especially on the defensive side of the court. Lazy and uninterested, can be taken to the post and manhandled. Give him space to shoot his jumper all night and turn him into something else he is not - a jump shooter.

Playing him at the point is silly - guess its what they have to do to keep him interested because for all of the so called gifts his overall game and court IQ is limited.

That could be a function of the people around taking advantage of putting him in spots where he is guaranteed to succeed without being challenged or pushed. If a coach or program bigger than the surrounding egos got a hold of him, he could be what they think hes already been.
