: : Stanley left Cal Supreme when they made Brandon Williams the starting point guard. Btw, good decision by Cal Supreme coaches. He then left Earl Watson when he was taken off of the ball. Wasn't a pg at Harvard Westlake or Sierra Canyon. But Russell Westbrook's aau team has him at pg and he's getting burned.
: : Why is he trying to play out of position so bad? He's a smaller, and less aggressive, Corey Benjamin. IMO playing out of position he's doing himself a disservice. I see a lot of kids on their hs teams out of position either because of the team's lack of players or daddy ball. But this in aau is odd.
: That's not on the kid. It's on the coaches. If you put Cassius at pg that's on them. Cassius is athletic as any hooper in the country. The coach has to put him in the right sports for what he can do. But I bet that basketball won't be his main sport in a few years.
Corey Benjamin had a jumper though Justin. It wasnít lights out shooting jumper but much nicer than Stanleyís. Letís remember Benjamin was playing for the Bulls in the NBA and at Stanleyís current rate I donít see him making the league. Absolutely has to work on that jumper if he wants any kind of success at the next level. One last thing. AAU coaches need to kiss butt and make players happy instead of holding them accountable. Another reason Iím not that big of a fan of AAU.
