: : : MD

: : Real athletes love the challenge. If you are 14 and you win a 14U tourney, you now play 15U and you win, you now play 16U, you win and now you play 17U. You always look for the best competition because to make it to the NBA, you have to be the best, not just beating up on D league.

: Well obviously you would go up from 14 to 15 to 16 to 17 because that is your age. Chino Hills is playing top competition so there is no point to transfer. Etiwanda and Damien in their league are both top level teams. They play a tough non league schedule. And then in playoffs they play top teams. They beat both Crespi and St. John Bosco in state playoffs who were both in the open for CIF.
: Plus the big xfactor is he plays on top travel teams that play all over the nation and against the best competition.

Exactly. The kid loves playing at "the hills." He loves his head coach. The coach runs the entire team around his strengths.

Big O has already won an open championship so no reason for him to "chase rings" at this point.

Most importantly he's already on one of the top travel ball teams in the country so will be playing the most elite competition this summer anyway...competition that not even the open division would offer next season tbh. Not to mention he already has a boatload of college offers and can basically play wherever he wants. Both socially and on the court CH is a fit for him too. There's only one year left of h.s. and he really likes where he's at. Let the kid enjoy his last year of high school because it will be all business afterward.
