: : : : : : Any time he's at school for coaching or athletic director don't take your kid to that school he always turns paper work in late or never communicates with college coaches he's a big scammer .. St. Pius should fire him were number 2 in div 5 and don't make the playoffs because he never did paper work on time to cif wasted my sons time they had 3 real good players and this the thanks they get he's a clown
: : : : Have heard he is not a good guy!He cannot Coach at all. look at St. Anthony's they are winning now and he lost there.fired there and Warren.
: : : : : There were no at-large berths available in 5AA. I have no idea if paperwork was properly filed or not. But your school would not have been participating in CIF playoffs, regardless.
: : : : Morrison is not the coach!
: : You Can't blame anyone, both Pius and Webb needed to automatically qualify in order to be eligible for playoffs! I only hear one small group complaining about their AD, did Webb's AD also not fill in paperwork? I doubt it, both AD's did their job. They had teams ahead of them in higher divisions. Both could of gone 15-0 in non-league games and they still would not have made the playoffs. The system is flawed, and needs to be tweaked! Instead of complaining, join SCIBCA and let your voice be heard!
: .500 rule is on CIF not SCIBCA. Unless I understand it wrong scibca fought against it. Bad rule. Rewards bad scheduling and bad leagues.
.500 rule not the problem here. Both of the schools mentioned had better than .500 records. In fact, neither team lost a single game against a team in either 5AA or 5A. The problem is that they are both in leagues dominated by teams from higher divisions. So there was little to no chance of being an auto qualifier. And, because of the way CIF separated divisions this year, 5AA was overloaded with auto qualifiers. This left no at-large berths in 5AA- while both 5A and 5AAA have multiple byes because they didn't have enough qualified teams (including at-large) to even fill their brackets.
