: : : : : With a history of high level play, Mater Dei is a program. I say that Bishop Montgomery is a program as well. Chino Hills has to be one to right? Everybody else are teams.
: : : : : Thoughts?

: : : : What about a team that has averaged over 20 wins a year for about twenty years playing in the highest division with multiple wins over Mater Dei and Chino Hills (don't think they've played BM recently if at all) with next to no recruitment? Would that be a team or a program? Thoughts?

: : :
: : : BTW- Etiwanda actually played, and lost to, Bishop Montgomery in the 14-15 SS finals at the Honda Center. That was after Etiwanda beat Mater Dei (@MD) in the semis.

: : Its too early to call Chino Hills a program. Etiwanda is definitely a program. I think Corona Centennial is a program as well. No doubt MD and BM are programs.

: Crespi, Fairfax, Westchester, Taft.

: A couple years ago I would have said Loyola and Harvard Westlake.

You would have been wrong a couple of years ago. All of those examples are teams. Smh.
I think that the post about using local guys vs importing guys is accurate. I don't consider Mater Dei a top high school program. They just fly in guys. Bishop Montgomery, Etiwanda, Chino Hills are programs. That's if Chino Hills have a few short great years after Big O.
