: : : Here is what I have for the SS Open Division as of 1/27/18:
: : : 1. Bishop Montgomery
: : : 2. Etiwanda
: : : 3. Sierra Canyon
: : : 4. Mater Dei
: : : 5. Rancho Christian
: : : 6. Oak Park
: : : 7. Crespi
: : : 8. 2nd place Trinity, Cor. Cent., ?
: : Westchester, fairfax, corona centennial, I would have any of these in before ,OP,Crespi or MD....in fairness

: : : Obviously, the remaining league games, Showcase games today, and the Nike Extravaganza will have an impact on how this shakes out. Does anyone think I am missing anyone in this list?

: Well, Fairfax & Westchester are LA City Sections teams, not SS (Southern Section) so they can't be considered. I guess you think MD's six losses should downgrade them. Strength of schedule will be considered and based on that, as of today, MD is ahead of Cent. , Oak Park, & Crespi.

A ccording to MaX Preps MaterDei of the top
rated teams in California has the highest strength of schedule rank by FAR
over other teams.
