Who thinks it's a good idea to film from the baseline? No one. Put the tripod in the stands, give us a view of the entire court, with a little elevation. There is a reason all TV broadcasts are shot this way, it is just a far better way to see how players really perform: You get to see the offense develop, what the defenders are doing, and how play develops. Shooting from baseline during warmups or one or two game cuts is ok, and gives one a sense of playdrs' heights and athleticism (or lack thereof) but an entire game, or a series of clips all from baseline is just too much. Not even watchable, and certainly not enjoyable.
Also, please turn off the autofocus if you are going to film from the baseline...the constant going in and out of focus just gave me a headache.
I appreciate what Popscout is doing by making his videos available, but.....tbey could be do much better with just a few basic tweaks.
