: : : : : : : At the end of regulation Coach Walton let Kuzma dribble out the clock with 14 seconds and then shoot a 40 footer ! Randle had been on fire . Unstoppable on the drive. And we get this shot from a coach making 5 million a year ? Walton should be questioned on this last shot ! Oh Please as his father would say .
: : : : : David Fizdale will be named the new head coach following another 60-loss season if LeBron comes. If not, Luke is the perfect coach to tank with in 2018-19.
: : : : : Take out Brian Shaw, and there are HS staffs with more relevant basketball experience than Walton's assistants. The team could use a fresh perspective from a new team psychologist. Where's Chaz the Bartender?
: : : It's evident that Walton has no plays and doesn't know what to do at the end of a close game.
: : The Lakers are just the same pitiful team they had last year. They drank the Lavar-juice and made the wrong draft pick. i said it before the season started that the Lakers would have no problem scoring over 100 pts a game but they would also give up 110-120 and that's exactly what is happening. I don't think Luke should be a scapegoat cause in reality they didn't give him much to work with. And then the final question is why would Lebron come to this franchise to possibly be a 7 or 8 seed and have to play the Warriors or Rockets in the first round?
: LeBron would possibly come this summer if Paul George or DeMarcus joined him (looking unlikely now). If this summer is another dud, three star players could join forces in LA by taking a slight pay cut in 2019. The cap space could be made.
: The Warriors probably won't re-sign Klay after 2019, and a team of LeBron+Klay+Ball+Kuzma+Hart+Nance+$25 million in cap space is a contender, and can trade Ingram+2019 lotto pick to the Pelicans for Anthony Davis.
: If Ball was a bad pick, who was the right draft pick? Kuzma and Tatum would've been redundant with Ingram in the starting lineup and Nance in the frontcourt. If you wanted Fox, you don't watch Kings games. Mitchell is a rare athlete for a late lottery pick, rumor has it the Lakers sought to move down to draft both Mitchell and DSJ/Fox but the Kings kept their #5 and #10 picks.
I could coach the Lakers for half of Walton's pay and get the same results.
