: : : : : Wilkes is a possible perfect tutor as he is quiet like Ball and of slim build yet he learned to score in a variety of ways including an excellent bank shot and learned to finish at the rim. It's worth a try.

: : : : Cannot agree with Wilkes - his shot was accurate but from a technical standpoint, it was almost as ilconcieved as Ballís. Wondering why a coach who was a pure shooter as was Alford didnít help Ball.

: : : They say Coach Moore will work with him this summer! The best Shooting Coach in California.

: : The perfect shooting coach is the one that doesn't have to listen to Lavar. Zo has to shoot a straight shot period. Shooting is not rocket science. Khawi Leonard had a horrible stroke in college, went to San Antonio for a week to work with their shooting coach. Came home worked on it during the strike and look at him now.

: Lonzo and lavar arent changing that horrible shot. Deep down zo thinks he knows better......daddy said so 4 years. His only chance of covering that shot up is by getting stronger and quicker. That shot will be broke for the rest of his career. Will never shoot above 40%

Previously someone asked why Alford hadn't fixed Zo's shot.. No one would ever admit this, but I would be willing to bet that as part of the price for LaVar allowing Lonzo to honor his commitment to UCLA, Alford had to agree to not touch the game of any of the BBB boys. I honestly think that LaVar LOVES that Zo has a funky/quirky (horrible) shooting stroke, that it's part of the gimmick. He's envisioning Zo being a star and kids all over being infatuated with that weird release like kids in the early 80s all wanted to experiment with their shot to look like Jamaal Wilkes. It's all part of his master plan. So the question will become, as a guy who is 9/7/7 in the NBA and shooting 27% on 3's, will Zo stick to "the Plan" or will he get help?
BTW, I've already seen kids messing around and shooting it like Zo. But, thankfully, as of now it's in making fun of his shot.
