: : A no show last night. What's the deal?

: And to make it worse, D'Angelo is playing like an uber-efficient, better shooting version of MVP-level Kobe. He's among the top 5 in the NBA in Points per 100 possessions and is ahead of greats such as Westbrook, Irving, and Harden at age 21. And all this with no playmaking help in the starting lineup. Imagine if he had Pau and Odom in their primes.

: If only the NBA were as progressive as baseball and gave more jobs to so called "nerds", things like scouting and eye tests are flawed and biased. Need a scientific numbers approach. Lakers were last in hiring analytics people and are suffering. Most NBA coaches are just glorified trainers anyway.

LOL. I remember when Lonzo first got to CH and everyone came on this board saying how overrated he was. Saying things like he'll never be one and done, his shot is broke, daddy this, daddy that. Then when he got to UCLA, same ole same ole. Some of you still don't get it. I've seen this kid since he was playing in the old church league in Upland. He's always played the same. Sure, he should score more, get his, run to the bank, etc. But he doesn't because there is something more important. Hasn't anyone noticed how much better all the Lakers are looking/playing? Ingram was looking like he was an overrated juco player. Randle was lost. Broke Lopez?? They are all responding and getting better because this kid plays for the respect of his teammates and it shows. Come back in a month after his teammates see he's for real. In the age of me, this kid is about team and team chemistry is one of the most underrated, overlooked aspects in sports. He's taking all the pressure off everyone else, giving them a chance to learn grow and improve. D'Angelo will always be about himself - a wannabe Kobe.
