: : : : : : : : : : Just saw that Culver City is on the Platinum bracket for the Damian tournament. How good are they? And how many of their transfers are eligible right away?
: : : : : : : : : It won't matter, Oak Park is winning the Platinum!
: : : : : : : : ::Thank You DAD.
: : : : Then Mater Dei should be stripped of all their titles! Sierra Canyon, too. Oh wait, they had the #1 team in the country and couldn't win it!

: : : HS coaches raid club teams. Does that make the hs coach a good coach or just a great manipulator? Exploiting the youth for adult personal gain is about as low as a human can go.
: : The issue Pacifica Christian ran into is that the assistant coach helps run Dream Vision and the two players played for him on that club team within the last 24 months. The CIF rules state that is undue influence unless you prove otherwise. I still am not sure how to prove a negative like that so those two players have to sit. The bad part is they can't go back to their previous school and play immediately either because they have been enrolled at the new school. If they want to play this year their only choice is to change addresses and go to a third school.
: The asst. coach from Mater Dei coached Cal Supreme and his players this past EYBL season. I believe the rule is that the Head Coach can't coach his players.
The players from Mater Dei were currently enrolled at Mater Dei when they played for Cal Supreme.For example if Hunt or Shareef would have attempted to transfer to Mater Dei, they would have been deemed ineligible.
