: : : : St Bernard beat Oak Park yesterday with both of their D1 recruits sidelined with injury. Oak Park was being one of their guards but from the looks of it I don't think it would have made a difference yesterday. St Bernard Dominated them from start to finish. Their coach has them playing such a good brand of basketball. Total team effort. Their freshmen Xazvier Williams and Tyler Powell were awesome yesterday. Junior Guard Dorian Stewart ran the 1 with poise and dictated pace. Sophomore Guard Nick Bowden continues to impress with his play and set the tone early draining big shots and getting in the paint causing havoc. Senior Wing Malcolm Bray reminds me of Draymond Green, he is definitely the heart and soul of their team. Undersized for his position but brings toughness and grit on the defensive end. I can't wait to see what they do come season.

: : : I saw the game before with Hart almost beating Oak Park as well. And Hart was undersized at every position. Is Oak Park all hype? Congrats to St Bernards on the win. That team looks really solid. The Coach has them playing well.
: : its fall league still right? thats like denver beating golden state yesterday. it means nothing until the season starts. some teams arent even running their offense yet, just working of defensive chemistry and trying rotations out. teams like st. bernards live on summer and fall wins...who cares! stop with all this preseason hype. oak park will be fine and an open division team yet again.
: Funny how the same guy always comes to bash St Bernard. Nobody said anything about them being hyped about the win. I believe they commented on what they observed during the game. The samw argument you made for Oak Park couls be made for St. Bernard. Whatever the case may be it sounds like it was a dominant performance. Get that salt outta your mouth because we all know who you are. Lol
::: Why do so many people dislike St. Bernards? Iíve been to their fall league 2 weeks now and Iíve gone to see other teams such as Westchester, Crossroads and even Oak Park and have left very impressed with this St. Bernard team. The coaches are engaged and I had a talk with the assistant coach and he elaborated that them having a down year last season has prepared them for now. It was a reality check because they had a ton of players with Zero varsity experience. Not the case this year. If they stay healthy they could win 20plus game and compete for a championship! Iíve seen Sierra Canyon with the transfer heavy roster and wasnít impressed, no organization and I dislike they do not utilize Terren Frank enough. Fairfax is forreal, they have a ton of talent mixed decent size and great coaching.
