Here is what I see from the Marmonte Crystal Ball not "Crack Pipe" this season! Its going to be tight! Likely a tie breaker situation to get league title.
#1 - Newbury Park (7-3) - Fresh Coaching, a good group of returning starters (Foldes, Smith, Cartano, Soloman) and expected Rising & Crosby (6'4" 280, DE) from football will make matching up a nightmare in league. They take league title with a revenge win against #5 TO at TO.
#2 - Westlake (7-3) - No 2nd Year Jinks on Keagle. He will have his troops in shape and ready to compete. Looking at Jr. PG Howard to focus in and bring the game and less show. Though lost a major contributor to transfer league weakness will cover it up.
#3 - Oaks Christian (5 -5) - Another New Coach.
Probably a couple games can go either way but for the most part too unstable an environment to build. They always have athletes but distractions too.
#4 - Calabasas (5-5) - The return of Parlaz will help. Lost a bunch of Sr's last year. Looking at Sr. Yellin & Jr. Cheylov to be contributors. Again, a couple games can go either way.
#5 - Thousand Oaks (5-5) - +20 yr aging Coaching Staff. Young roster with missing pieces. Leadership will be needed! Likely miss playoffs with expected CIF Div adjustment.
#6 - Agoura (3-7) - Best Coaching Staff in League. The production achieved from their home grown student body is admirable. Again, close games for them and can could achieve 6-4 with some breaks here and there. Don't under estimate them.
