: : : : Lakers match up much better this year against the Warriors because of their improved on ball defenders and improved 3pt shooting.
: : : : Look for Josh Hart, Coldwell-Pope and Ball to be formidable defensively and offensively when on the floor and playing together

: : : : Coach J
: : : Lonzo can't guard summer league players who are mostly end-of-bench players at best, let alone anyone on the Warriors roster.
: : : He shouldn't have too ! People come to watch his great passing .
: Funny- I thought Laker fans come out to watch them win. They won't win more than 30 games if he isn't interested in playing D. This isn't Chino Hills or Big Baller AAU BS team where he can just hook us guys with great passes and not worry about playing D. Make all the highlight passes you want, but you can't win if you don't D up.
Who was the Lakers' best perimeter defender after Hart and Nwaba were out? Asking because I don't know. But Zo was trying to guard Dennis Smith Jr., FWIW.
35 wins would be incredible for this young team in this conference. Portland and Denver got better, Minnesota is playoff bound. Jazz, Grizzlies, and Clippers are worse but still in playoff hunt. Kings added some veteran help in George Hill, Vince, & ZBo. Suns bring Bledsoe and Chandler back after holding them out intentionally to tank games last year. New Orleans is tough and had an offseason to gel. Dallas may be way down, but that's not enough to open the door for the Lakers to make playoffs. East is at an all-time low, but that doesn't help LA.
1-5: Warriors, Spurs, Rockets, Thunder, T-Wolves
6-11: Portland, Denver, Grizzlies, Clippers, Pelicans, Jazz
12-15: Lakers, Kings, Suns, Mavs
