: : : : : After UCLA's loss to Kentucky, when Dearon Fox decided to go for 35, Lavar Ball said that Lonzo had a bad groin. Tonight Lonzo "has a bad groin" according to the Lakers and that's why he didn't play vs Sacramento and Fox tonight.
: : : : : Lonzo may actually be hurt... but I'm not buying it. He finished the last game on a one handed, one leg jump dunk. He hurt his groin in the 24 hours of no basketball since then?

: : : : Fox went for 39, not 35. ;) Lakers got their first W of the summer without you know who.

: : : Move and totally expected. He wasn't hurt when everyone was knobbing him during and after the Boston game.

: : He's too weak to play four games in a week.

: I think that there's a good chance that the Lakers will try to hide Lonzo's bad defense by having him guard a lot of shooting guards if the opponent's pg is a scoring pg. At least for the start of the season. But it's going to take time to get Lonzo to learn how to play defense. He really has never done so before.

: Makes sense that they would have Lonzo guard a 2 or a 3. Just like they did with Magic. BScott or Michael Cooper always guarded the opposings team PG
