: : : : Lonzo 2 for 15 and 4 turnovers! LaVar said Lonzo changed the Laker Nation. Funny guy! Lakers lost again! I didn't see anything changing

: : : At least he moved the ball around well. Lakers had no shooters around Lonzo, or his assist #s would be better. Would have won the game anyway with all the terrible shooting had the last shot not rimmed out.

: : : Bad as the Lakers may be, in a league where last year's Boston team can be #1 in the East, and supposedly up-and-coming teams like Portland, OKC, and Houston are capped out to the point they can never improve, all the Lakers need is to develop this year and next and hope to hit it big in two years in the draft. NO ONE IS COMPETING WITH GOLDEN STATE. As the board moderator once said, just mail in the results and give the championship to the Warriors.

: : : Pass on Tatum and Fox. Big mistake !

: Im in Vegas and I watch Zo then I watch Fox, OMG.
: totally different types of players, Fox motor is tenacious, always aggressive and in attack mode, very fast, his midrange game is nice, his shooting will even get better. I know its early but it was no comparison. Zo is a fine player but the problem is, his Father has written a lot of checks with his mouth and Zo has to cash.
: Zo was kinda shell shock of the strength, speed, and not being able to get his shot off other than a wide open three. Only my opinion. Also I truly kept looking at Magic and he looked concern.

The lineups are a joke. If the Lakers as an organization keep drafting/signing bad shooters and then not developing them (Clarkson, Nwaba, Nance, Brown, Randle, Kuzma), then its time to sell the team to AEG. Whoever put a non shooter in Vander Blue next to Ball in the first game of his career should be selling peanuts at Staples Center on opening night, even if it was Magic who made the call. At this rate the Lakers may as well have a high school coaching staff. Maybe Baik is in their future? I'm not even kidding man...the only way the Lakers make a come up is if they consider HS coaching talent. Other teams are better at identifying good college coaches, but the Lakers in charge have never made good hires since Sharman (Riles was West's choice, Phil fell into their lap). Dunleavy and D'Antoni were good coaches but bad fits.

Magic is looking around thinking, what if I had to face real defenses in my day (zone d) with such bad shooters? Fox would see three defenders every time he drove the lane. Lakers struggle with developing players. Drafting Tatum would've logjammed the 3&4 positions. Nance, Randle, & Ingram need time on the court, as does Tatum.

Too bad there isn't a lottery pick until 2019. This year's Lakers pick goes to Boston if #2-5, or to Philly if 1st overall (also to PHI if 6-30). Hope it goes to Philly or Lakers fans can give up catching Boston in this half-century.
