: : Yesterday I watched a few games at Culver City HS I was able to check out a few games at the Jordan Brand #TAKEFLIGHT tournament. I watched St. Bernard stun. Sierra Canyon by 11 points. I watched a talented scrappy St. Bernard team just outwork the Valley's TOP SCHOOL. Defensively St. Bernard was tough and didn't allow anything easy and on the offensive side they ran their plays to perfection. The game was filled with energy and Sierra Canyon got dominated in every facet of the game. Cassius Stanley was average and flopped the entire game while other guys from Sierra watched because the ball was stagnant and quite honestly the defense of Bernard was very selfish. Towards the end of the game I was made aware that St. Bernard Head Coach was in China and that was even more impressive. St. Bernard shooter was on fire and SC had no answer for him or Guard Mook and Dorian. The big kid for SB rebounded the ball exceptionally well while other role players did their job. It was beautiful basketball to watch and be a part of.

: Sierra Canyon is a bad team. Let's not let the name on the front of the uniform fool anyone

Would have to Agree that St. Simply outplayed Sierra Canyon. SC had 3 core guys there who have gotten all of the talk and still got dominated from start to finish. #10 Nick Bowden the Sophomore guard picked them apart and nailed big shot after big shot. Mook Harris Junior guard played with poise and great defense on Cassius Stanley. Romelle Mansel the Big for SB held KJ Marrin to 9 points while dominating on the boards. Junior guard Dorian Stewart also had a great game hitting mid range jumpers while playing great on ball defense. Malcolm Bray the senior wing man does all the scrappy things a brings a real tougness to SB. The incoming freshman also came ofd the bench and contributed big minutes. SB was simply the better team and their starting core is young and going to be a headache for years to come. Add all of that to great coaching and you have a winning formula. SB's coaching staff prepares their team well and gets the most out of each player. They did all of this with their Head Coach in China. The Assistant Head Coach excecuted a perfect game plan and the boys carried it out. Very Impressive to say the least.
