: : : : : Wondering who everyone thinks are the best coaches taking into consideration, X's and O's, development of players and finally making sure kids are on the straight and narrow. Thanks for your opinions.

: : : : 1.Mckight at MD 2. Katani at Rolling Hills Prep formally of Fairfax 3. Azzam at Westchester 4. Crespi Coach White 5. Hoffman at La Canada

: :
: : : I'm a big Russell White guy. If you buy into his style/system/method, you will leave a better player/student/person. Which is what high school sports is supposed to be about.

: : As of right now #1 is Doug Mitchell hands down. They beat Mater dei twice, chino hills and sierra canyon. His teams play hard, play smart and play with discipline.
: : 1. Mitchell
: : 2. Mcknight
: : 3. Azam
: : 4. Le Duc
: : 5. Can be anyone. I like mulligan at capo.

: 1: Stephan Gilling, formerly Chino Hills, 30-3 & #4 in the state last year.
: 2. Jon Shaw, formerly Village Christian, multiple CIF's.
: 3. Steve Baik, Fairfax & formerly Chino Hills, won the national title, coached and mentored the #1 pg that year in Lonzo Ball, sent multiple kids to college.
: 4. Paul Tait, Heritage Christian, coached his team to a #24 USA ranking.

: Does that list look crazy? That's to all of the folks that point to w-l's when talking about a good coach. Coaching is about having values and teaching kids to.
: Jamal Adams at Loyola and Russ White is near the top of the list. Tom Kelly at Hart in Newhall is lowkey a good coach. Never has talent but his teams play the right way and play hard.

Forgot about Adams. Good coach, good guy, teaches accountability and values.
