: : : : One can not play at age of 19. They can turn 19 in May or June their senior year. One can not start the school year at age of 19 to play HS sports.
: : : Wrong. From the CIFSS Blue Book: "A student, whose 19th birthday is attained prior to June 15, shall not participate or practice on any team in the following school year." One can be 19 for their entire senior year and still be eligible. For a real life example see Spencer Freidman. He turns 19 this month and will play next year at Mater Dei.

: As a taxpayer it seems insane to be paying for these kids and their supposed education in our public schools until some of them are nearly 20.
Tax Payers on pay for Students to attend Public School for their K-12 years and part of their Junior College, Adult School or State College if they attend. They can be held back only one year at the most. Statistics prove that those that get an Education are more like to prosper then go to prison where tax payers pay the entire cost that is much more than a year in School.
