: The EYBL decision to allow bagley ball to participate and go to peach jam underscores the watered down hypocritical situation that is aau.EYBL talent/teams is a joke compared to past yrs too many underclassmen...example Cal supreme is no where as good as last yrs team maybe three current players make last yrs team bol reef tayvion..sad to see where it's headed
Stacking teams does not make players better. I have one strong player and am developing my other players. My team(s) get stronger as the season moves on as my players learn to lean on each others ability as crucial times in the game to help develop their basketball IQ's. Stacked teams miss this growing opportunity and now you are seeing more of the lack of fundamentals in ALL parts of a players game come out. Being a superior athlete will only carry one so far. Players need to have a complete package, physical, mental, skills and solid fundamentals to continue to advance. I have seen time and time again a solid fundamental player out duel and much more athletic player. Why? Most of the time the solid fundamental player with skill set gets the other player in foul trouble over and over again. Go sit down and watch me play! Lot's of coaches go for that fools gold. Classic stuff.
