: : Should Brandon Williams play for Crespi this year? He's committed to UofA and Crespi's young team isn't going to go far. Why risk injury? This is where people are going to say "to keep in shape"... well have you seen Crespi? Who is he "battling" in practice? St Francis and Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks isn't worth another knee injury before heading to Tucson? Please understand, I'm only referring to Williams' situation. He's been out for awhile. How many knee injuries has he had? If it's about competition and staying in shape, why not go to prep? I would selfishly like to see BW destroy the Mission league. But if I'm in his circle of friends I'd tell him to get to Prolific Prep.

: I get your injury angle. But while Crespi is no Harvard Westlake academically, it is at least a decent school. He is going to have to go to school at Arizona. Prep schools are a joke.

: And regardless of competition, I want my kid trained/coached by Russell White every single day.

Ask BW or other parents. Be careful what you wish for. Not many god coaches out there so I understand why you would say that. Especially at coaching point guards. But this kid would've been this good if any of the other coach coached him.
