: Desert Valley? Sounds like the organizer is making a ton of money. How many All Star Games, Camps, etc. does he run?

It's a money grab. I played in his "All-Star" game a few years ago and Maleki promises the world and claims to always get players into schools. But really, he charges a fee to play, "says it's to cover insurance" and no one ever gets a scholarship because they played in his yearly money grab. Where does the money go from this game? Don't say you give scholarships, it's a farce. You should give 100% of the money into the school that is hosting, or to a charity. A couple JC coaches show up and talk to a few guys but other than that its a way for the guy to line his pockets... I like how the Press-Enterprise and these other sponsors blindly support him when they don't even ask to see where the money goes. His Camps are also a joke, its the same 3 JC guys show up and he collects your money and does nothing but line his pockets again. He told a friend of mine he was getting him a scholarship to a school and it was a WOMEN'S college that didn't even have men or men's sports. they were thinking about allowing men into their college but hadn't done so. My parents blindly gave him a ton of money to help me get seen and I never heard anything except false promises. Thousands went into his pockets from my parents hard earned money and I never heard from him again. He's a fraud.
