: : Not sure about LMU or Pep but I was at the CSUN v Fullerton game and just the pure lack of effort has to be on the coaching staff I heard the players aren't happy playing there and it shows, sad situation at CSUN feel bad for the players.

: : : Any word if any of the local coaches are going to get fired? CSUN, LMU, Pepperdine, etc

: Dunlap not going anywhere. Having a solid year and bringing in a stellar freshmen class.

: Give it time, he'll have LMU in the upper part of their conference.

Although I'm an LMU alum, I really haven't watched them much this year (or recent years), but I saw the entire WCC tournament game against BYU and they really got after it on defense. If they had a few more CONSISTENT offensive playmakers and could cut down on the really bad turnovers, they could have had a decent year. So hopefully with a bit more talent, Dunlop might actually be able to do something. But then again, the things I just said apply to just about every school and every coach.

Nonetheless, my biggest gripe with LMU is that a school with their location, campus, and even with their little bit of Hank Gathers and Bo Kimble related history (which was my freshmen year, btw), they should be able to field a decent team every single year even if all they got were the discards from UCLA and USC. Yet, we've had a series of mostly bad teams with players from all over the world, but relatively few SoCal guys on the roster. Perhaps Reggie Morris can change that now that he's on the staff. He certainly worked some magic for Leuzinger and Redondo.
