: : : Howard Levine at Grant as stepped down as head Coach at Grant High School after 30+ years and 500+ wins

: : : Thoughts? where does he rank in the history of city coaches ?

: : : Word is His long time assistant has taking over the Program. anyone know anything about him

: :
: : Tarek has taken over but let's be honest, they aren't that competitive anymore and very unorganized. Tarek coached the JV team and they were just ok. Grant has great location to attract the right kids but the lack of coaching and academics ruin their chances to be great.

: Grant has been in the Mix every year what are you talking about you must have got cut The Grant JV have won Their league like 7 years in a Row Tarek Is a Very good Coach with the Potential to be Great Coach he does a great job making kids into varsity players excited to see what he does as the head honcho

: Grant gets local kids and they do not go out and recruit unlike some schools walking into Grant as a freshman you know if you work hard you will get a chance to be a varsity player

: Tarek was the best guy for the job and will take grant to new heights.

My Son played at Grant and i must say glade he went their Howard and Tarek did a wonderful job and if i had another son he would go to grant also

Howard will be missed however Tariq is Loved and respected by the players and Admin and Will be an Awsome head Coach
